The Dennis memeorial grammar school Onitsha old boys association is the alumni association of the class that entered Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha in 1999 and graduated in 2005 — known as the class of 2005 set (DOBA 05 SET) generation. We are united by a shared formation, a pride in our school's legacy, and a commitment to giving back.

Our association spans professionals, entrepreneurs, academics, and public servants across Nigeria and the diaspora — all carrying the torch of DMGS forward.

Our Vision

To be a force for positive impact — investing in education, community development, and the enduring legacy of Dennis Memorial Grammar School, Onitsha.

Non-political. We have no affiliation with any political party, movement, or ideology.

Non-religious. Our association is open to members of all faiths and none — bound by school, not creed.

Non-profit. All funds raised serve the development of members, alumni welfare, and school projects.

Membership eligibility. Open to all who were students of DMGS Onitsha with entry years between 1999 and 2005.

Worldwide reach. Active chapters in Nigeria and across the global diaspora.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of the association shall include the following:

  • To provide a forum or platform whereby members working or resident anywhere in the world shall meet and discuss matters of interest both to themselves and the school.
  • To organize both social and intellectual activities thereby translating into action, the motto of the School.
  • To serve as a medium through which members worldwide shall maintain regular contact with each other.
  • To co-operate with the National Body i.e. DOBA Worldwide and the school authorities for the advancement of the school.
  • To have a positive impact on the nation and the society at large.
  • To empower ourselves through personal growth, continuous learning, and development of values that shape us into confident, responsible, and visionary individuals.
