AN ADDRESS OF WELCOME Good afternoon most respected gentlemen of D2k5 and everyone present in this epoch making event, tagged 'OBATA OBIE' our 2026 rededication/reunion holding today Sunday 19th day of April . We joyfully welcome our guests especially our guest speaker, Dr. Okafor Indeed it is the Lord's doing that we are all gathered here today to mark this year's reunion, swearing in of our new executives and the launching of our ITAT program. As we all know the reason for our gathering is to foster friendship/ communication and as well present ourselves before God. The purpose of this reunion committee wouldn't have been met, if you guys have not played active roles to ensure it's implementation. We appreciate the financial support that poured in, as we all know finance is a life wire of any organization. May God replenish everyone of us who contributed in one way or the other to make this program a reality. We thank the good Lord for making this year's reunion possible. It is important to note that health is wealth, so therefore we should endeavor to prioritize our well-being by living and choosing a healthy lifestyle. As part of this year's reunion we had a fantastic football match yesterday at the nibbles den garden, kudos to Mr Onyebuchi Onuselogu (*Buchidity*) and (*Lit*)who co sponsored our 20th anniversary season 2 football competition. We thank our gallant players and also encourage everyone of us to make physical exercise a priority as we are not getting any younger. We must not fail to appreciate the doggedness of our ebullient pioneer President, Engnr. Chidi Okekeozor, the outgoing President Mr. Ikenna Akunebu and his Executives, the D2k5 UK Branch and most especially all our D2k5 members We congratulate our new Executives ably led by Mr.Stephen Iwuchukwu (*Esibe*), we pray that your tenure be fruitful as we enjoin all hands on deck to move D2k5 forward. As we go on with today's program, we thank you all for your energy, enthusiasm and continued support.
